Official Business
At the wrap-up meeting last night, I was given a few items to post on the blog.
1. For those of you who did not attend the reunion:
Debbie has a few extra copies of the group photo and the reunion booklet. The reunion booklet lists everyone and their contact info, along with "what I'm doing now" blurbs for quite a few classmates who submitted that info. If you would like to buy a copy of either or both of these, they are $5 each. Email Deb to let her know: d.dmalone@verizon.net.
2. Chuck Stalnaker's info in the booklet is wrong, wrong, wrong! He is a welder in the Maintenance Department at Harrison Station. As the man said in Cool Hand Luke, what we have here is a failure to communicate.
3. Thanks to Sally Feaster Bishop, we have added a prize category for next time's reunion: Classmate who looks most like his or her parent. And we're pretty sure that "Mr. Harmer" will win it. :)
4. The classes of 1977 and 1978 are getting together to have their reunion next summer. They're planning on doing a riverboat cruise in Pittsburgh, and they have invited the class of 1976 to come along, because they need at least 100 people to fill the buses. If you're interested in participating, contact Deb and she will forward your name to the appropriate person: d.dmalone@verizon.net
5. The big alumni get-together will take place in the summer of 2008, so please keep it in mind. If you're interested in helping, contact (guess who?) Deb. The alumni association would love to have some of the younger crowd (that means us!) get involved.
